With over 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical and consumer advertising, Steve has created award winning campaigns for a wide range of clients and products. He has worked in US and European offices giving him a solid global background.
Prior to Flashpoint, Steve managed the creative departments at Ogilvy Healthworld, where he worked for 15 years, and at J. Walter Thompson.
Steve has led numerous product launches including Ultram (Ortho McNeil), ReoPro, Prozac, Ceclor, Keftab, Lorabid and Axid (Eli Lilly), Flexeril 5 mg and Concerta (McNeil Consumer & Specialty Pharmaceuticals), CellCept and Zenapax (Roche), Primacor and Hyalgan (Sanofi-Synthelabo), Tygacil and Bazadoxifine (Wyeth), and Ditropan XL (Alza Pharmaceuticals). Steve has also been responsible for creating the corporate identity, packaging, logos, and branding for many pharmaceutical products and companies.
Among the numerous awards Steve has won are the Triangle Award, Gold and Silver In Awe Awards, Globals, Rx Club Gold and Silver Awards, Aesculapius Award, John Caples Award for Direct Mail, and MedAdNews nomination for Best Campaign.
In addition to his substantial healthcare experience, Steve has worked on Consumer accounts including Nabisco, Fleischmann’s Margarine, Egg Beaters, Kodak, Hertz, and Taster’s Choice Coffee.
Steve holds a BFA from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania, where he is currently on the Advisory Board. In addition, he has studied marketing and design at Pratt Institute and The School of Visual Arts, and filmmaking at NYU.
