As Managing Partner, Co-President of Flashpoint Medica, Risa Bernstein provides much of the spark that lights the agency’s growth.

Her financial stewardship—combined with a bottom-line goal-setting strategy—helps keep business development on the right track.

Her ability to spot great advertising talent—-and to merge that talent with the highest standards—-has made the agency a creative stronghold.

When Risa joined partners Charlene Prounis and Helen Appelbaum in founding the agency, she brought with her more than 20 years of healthcare marketing experience.

Six years ago she was one of four partners who founded Accel Healthcare Communications. The agency grew into one of the top 20 in the healthcare arena before being merged into Corbett Accel.

Before starting Accel, Risa spent her entire career at Gross Townsend, subsequently Grey Healthcare Group. As Managing Director, she oversaw every division, including advertising, medical education and public relations.

A magna cum laude graduate of Brandeis University, Risa believes that there is a niche in the marketplace that virtually cries out to be filled with senior executives— experienced, talented individuals—who know how to speed up a brand’s development and acceptance.
